A high school art teacher once told our class that she had a teacher who said there is something good in every piece of art. I really do believe that, and we all know there is no right or wrong way to express yourself in art. Keep it up!Dianehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03336382489523622350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9173649280963485189.post-42753273714061560222015-07-03T14:14:00.004-05:002015-07-03T14:14:00.004-05:00I love the "romance" one.... so cute!

Art is to be fun and personal, people who judge it, or your ability to make it, are dead wrong. Back when I was actually painting and doing art shows, I presented my work to a local art museum. I was told by the curator that because I didn't have a degree in art, my art would never be shown there. About two months later I received an apology letter and a date for a show. Apparently the board saw my work and out voted him.
Sometimes people judge you, because of selfish reasons. When it comes to art . . . express yourself and try to enjoy making it as you did when you were a child. It will be perfect:)
Your blogging sister,
Connie :) Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08187302890702147585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9173649280963485189.post-34960810888718943562015-07-03T08:28:52.482-05:002015-07-03T08:28:52.482-05:00Since you have taken photos of them why don't ...Since you have taken photos of them why don't you get that special fabric that you can put into a printer and print your cards. Still, I am sorry someone questioned your methods and made you doubt. Your red door made me giggle - our front door is painted black, but if you look closely you will see some red coming through some lightly and intentionally crackled spots - because we are the kind of dorks who will paint the door red before painting it black just because we couldn't get that song out of our heads and thought it would be a corny, yet subtle joke and let's see who would catch it?
