::Happy New Year! 2013

This is my last completed project for 2012  ~~

You know all those Favorite Projects we had in the 2012 year?
Did you have any that DIDN'T GET DONE?  or Maybe you had one that got pushed way back...and finished right there at the last?
I am so happy 2012 is behind us! Let's celebrate today and move forward to 2013!!!
I posted this picture back in July-- it was a Thank You gift for my sis-in law....You can read about it here.

I did lots of crocheting when it was too HOT to be outside. Well, Notice this flag Afghan minus any stars.
I made stars...but I strung them on a string, and stuffed them down in the bag...you know, for later?
But every chance my little grand-daughter got the chance she was wearing those stars on her wrist like a bracelet. She lost the stars.

I found them Saturday and spent that night and part of Sunday putting them on the blanket.
My sis- in law shared this picture of the afghan on the bed in her room...COMPLETE WITH STARS!
*edited:  photo lost. But you can just imagine... can't you?

She loved it.

I finished  that project!  I've got tons of projects I want to accomplish for 2013, how about you?

Here is wishing you all...a productive and peaceful HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusts in the Thee. ~Isaiah 26:3

Happy New Year my favorite Texas-girl! I've been pretty absent due to holiday travel and entertaining my labor-intensive brother - lol. I agree, let's put 2012 behind us and move forward to a better year! Ann

Pat, that's the coolest afghan I've ever seen. I just love it! So glad you found the stars and finished it! I'm with you on the unfinished projects. I too am working feverishly to finish things. I'm trying to hold off on anything new until things I've already planned or started, but never finished, are done. It's back to work today, so sadly I have to wait to work on anything right now. Good luck with your 2013 project goals! I look forward to seeing them all in the DONE pile!
