Please Pray!

Hi everyone~

I was just writing this post to ask for prayer.

On Friday, May 20-- Honey suffered a mild heart attack.
We were at home; he thought it was indigestion.
Fortunately, my son came down to the house to bring AAA batteries for the blood pressure cuff and was able to convince his dad to go the ER.

WE were transported to Dallas to a larger hospital on Saturday.

On Monday, May 23-- they will be doing angioplasty-- and putting stents into his arteries (where needed).

This was totally unexpected. We do not have insurance.

I'm asking for you to please pray for my husband.  He's NEVER had any serious health problems-- doesn't go to the doctor.

We will require serious health changes in our routine, diet and exercise. Not to mention a regimin of meds--  I'm hoping we'll be able to  adjust our lifestyle enough to correct any high blood pressure and cholesterol issues. (and get off meds-- if able!)

Please pray for our family -- we still have Temporary house guests.  I don't know if this has caused any undue stress for him.  He will not say.  He is very laid back and relaxed about things.

I've been praying for peace and God has answered my prayers.  Right now today-- I know that these things are in His hands.  I'm not worried about money or things.  I am praying for healing-- but know that God will give us what we need before we ask.
He is Sovereign in ALL THINGS-- even this.

Be anxious for nothing but in everything with prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving; make your request known to God; and the Peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Phil 4: 6-7

God bless you and thanks for reading!

Dearest Pat! I cannot imagine how scared you were! The Lord has given us the power and authority to tread on snakes and scorpions..and he has blessed us with the power of healing...by His stripes we were healed...Isaiah 53:4-5
I am asking our Lord and Saviour right now to bless you and your Honey...Hugs!

Oh my goodness, how scary that and all that follows must be for you. Hope the surgery goes real well today and that the recovery is swift.
You're right about the lifestyle changes, it is such a shocker to find out how much needs changing that you never knew was not good for you.
My prayers are with you.

Oh Pat, I am so very sorry to hear this, but so encouraged by your faith. Our God brings all things together for good, and He will work this out for you as well. God is already there, fixing this for your husband. I pray that He will cover you in His protection and provision, and that He will guide the hands of the surgeons as they are inside his body, and will give them wisdom for his follow up care.

Stand strong my friend, prove your faith to the Lord, and He WILL be there for your family.

I've put you on the prayer list. If you need anything, just ask.

Hugging you from across the blog. :)

Will pray for your husband and the rest of your family. My Dad had the same thing happen to him about 12 yrs. ago. He was shoveling and began having pains in the shoulder area. Had stents put in and was 80 yrs. old in March. It is so awesome how God works. A problem arises and all things change, but HE does know what HE is doing, and what is happening. HE always sees us through them.
