Clay Pot : FAIL

...well, I hadn't given it much thought until last week when Donna posted that we need to be thinking about it!
Thanks Donna for Cranial Terrorizing me!

So first let me say... I've got NO POT!

I have thought and thought about it. Where can I get a pot...for cheap?

Then on Thursday, I was at...you guessed it Bargain-land!
I simply can't get enough of that place when it opens up for 8 days out of the month. And apparently I can't stop blogging about it either! I should be getting paid for all the advertising I've been doing for them...but I'm not.

So  I'm there
and I spot it
sitting on a shelf
almost like it was staring back at me.

*** use your imagination here, and think about a lone small clay pot, with a .50 cent sticker on the side...just sitting amongst a plethora of various other Bargain-land finds***

.50 cents!  I grabbed it up like it was about to fall to the floor and smash to smithereens or something! (translates: LIGHTNING FAST!)

I brought it home and tried and tried to figure out what to do with it

...FAIL!

I almost caved to the negative vibes I was starting to get...
"If at first you don't succeed , destroy all evidence that you tried"

My brain just couldn't come up with a thing!

Finally, after sitting on the table a few days, and becoming a part of our household here it is...
trying to fit in with the rest of the clutter.

I had to clean the table off...an important piece such as this People can't live this way!

So I designated a spot in the window sill above the sink to hold these cherished items that are near and dear to the GRAND-KID'S HEARTS....just waiting to be part of all the action tomorrow once the hot Texas sun gets high in the sky...

I DUB THEE...
SQUIRT GUN CACHE!

Well, Donna -
I thought about it
and
I STILL have no idea what to do with a lone pot!

I got plenty of ideas from your followers today.
Such inspiring bloggy- friends you have!

As for everyone else...
and y'all know who you are---
Get over to Donna's and check out all the really cool Pot ideas!

God Bless you and Thanks for reading!

Stop it - you're killin' me! Cranial Terrorizing? If at first you don't succeed, destroy the evidence? Hilarious! And sooooo true! I think a squirt gun cache (hilarious again!) is a mighty fine temporary idea. But I just know that light is going to come on and you'll wow us all! Bless you for brightening my night!

The problem in my house is that anytime I put anything that can hold anything down, it will be filled with ...anything! Somehow "stuff" will find its way!(yes, like squirt guns!) A perfect vessel for them!

Ahhh... delightful! The juxtaposition of the cool greens against the stark blues alongside the warmth of the reds simply creates a fun and entertaining vignette for any youthful spirit that desires to... saturate the livin' daylights out of whatever they aren't suppose to! :)

Good job! Yours is as plain as mine! Why, you'n me could have our own shindig, "Naked Pot Party". Google, stay AWAY from that one!

Glad you linked up :) Donna

My, oh, my. I felt like I was back in the 70s for a moment there... I think the squirt guns are perfecto. I know someone (who will remain anonymous) who keeps tea bags (uh huh) in her little clay pot. It actually looks quite nice. Thanks for stopping by my birdie post!

Pat, you make me laugh so hard. That video cracked me up! I'd say a different twist on pot - it becomes of "stash" for other things - why not squirt guns?!

Thanks for the much needed laugh! Perhaps you could have put "Corn in your Flower Pot?"
