I got my MMS copy done early on~
and said I'd try to get something posted for Donna's Copy Me Challenge
I guess fashionably late is better than not at all...
I'm afraid I don't have much to compare-
but I will show you how I've been inspired by Donna-
which gives me a greater appreciation for her decorating style!
I did a work shop series hosted by Donna--
and revealed my CLUTTER...
just like her!
I took my Junk and re-purposed it into
FUNK!
As part of my workshop series contribution... I used this cool old muffin tin to sort my MIXED nuts and LOOSE screws
~~ BETTER TO KEEP MY ACT TOGETHER...
I RE-PURPOSED these ceiling fan ARMS and made hooks out of them for one side of my newly organized space...
~ and made a PLACE to hang my trim pieces on the opposite side!!
I got TASSEL ENVY and tried copying someone else...
but mine only turned out looking FUNKY like something Donna would make...
Donna likes crates---
I used this tool box below (after it was emptied out) to make a cool Mag Wagon!
and she inspired me to hang this crate back on the wall
(it's been everywhere in my house)
It holds my Funky Vintage canisters and and ONE Impostor!
Donna likes TWIGS~
I gathered up these TWIGS and used baling wire--(in Texas pronounced: BAYL'N WAR)
~ AND made a Gate where there was none!
I painted up some 'sign-age'
Donna loves painted boards
doesn't matter what it says~
You find a board- slap some paint on it and
some FUNKY letters, lingo, or LOGO...
SHE LOVES THAT!
and lastly~
Didn't copy this mantle from Donna, but...
I did take what I had ,added a few funky extras~~
threw it up there, painted it
AND POSTED PICTURES!
If that isn't copying Donna, then I don't know what is!!!
It was fun.
I'd like to say I've added new stuff~~
but truth is I've got my own STYLE goin' on here at Corn
and if anybody knows about having
YOUR OWN STYLE...it's Donna.
The Master of Funky Junk!
While she may influence the best or the worst of us Funky Junk wanna be's ...
There is only one Funky Junk Donna!
Thanks Donna for letting us try to copy your style.
and to Miss Mustard Seed too.
You two ladies are so gracious allowing us into your homes
and you have so much to offer the home-decor-blogger community. But even better- if not the decor tips and ideas, your personalities offer up so much more! It has been a pleasure getting to know you both. ~ Pat
God bless you
and
Thanks for reading.

Yep, you're funky and that's a good thing. lol Love the way you used the ceiling fan arms for hooks. Think I'll borrow that idea. The crate that holds the cannisters and the magazines are also neat. My fave is the twig gate. I love it!
I have my own style too. I think mine is called early GW though. lol
Glad you got your water problems all fixed and thanks for the prayers for sis. She's a fighter so I'm sure she'll pull through.
I remember most of these, but some are new to me. :)
I like your tassel! :) The sign (dance) has been one of my all-time favs!

LOL Oh you're awesome. :) And much too kind! You posters are blowing ME out of the water!
My total favs: the twig gate (SWOOOOOOON) and the crate on the wall. Ohhh so very funky indeed. :) Nicely done, Pat! And so glad to know you're remaining true to your own style. KUDOS.
