WORSHIP GOD IN PRAYER TODAY

One of God's Warriors : David Wilkerson

David Wilkerson was  killed in a car accident here in Texas yesterday.
The article said it was on Hwy 175-- this highway runs near our home. It is the corridor we drive to get to Dallas  or East to Athens and Tyler. The accident occurred further Southeast of us past Athens  according to this Washington Post  article.

His wife was with him.
I'm praying for his family.

I'm also praying for the people that lost family members in the storms last night that ripped through the south. We're waiting to hear from relatives in Dallas, Ga.
(was Dallas, Ga hit by this fierce storm?  Anyone know?)

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. -- Job 1:20-22

I pray that if you read this today-- that you would join me and
WORSHIP GOD IN PRAYER TODAY.

God bless you and Thanks for reading.

Powerful message - and so accurate. I have a very, very hard time accepting what organized religion has become.

I finally heard from our family-- don't know all the details, but they weren't home in Dallas, Ga. but were actually in Alabama!
I'm praising God for their safety.

Hey new friend. I know...I couldn't believe it when I saw it that day that he was killed. Did you go and read his last blog entry? So powerful! I told a lady from our church that I would have liked to have been at the funeral. Can you even imagine all the testimonies in that room! Lately, I have been getting sermons on www.sermomaudio.com to listen to when I walk. I have been listening to alot of Leonard Ravenhill. So, I had recently heard Wilkerson's name once again. Those sermons I have listened to are probably from the 70s and 80s, and boy does it sound like he is preaching right to America and the church today. It is amazing how those sermons live on with so much power. My heart wants God to change me. We are all such a mess & need God to do something. I did post this on my Facebook page. Hopefully, people will take the time to listen.
