Last week T.H. (The Honey)and I celebrated our wedding anniversary...
30 years! Woot-woot!
We didn't do anything on the actually day of it...
...but we made up for it on Saturday and spent the whole day together.
Such fun!
We went to Fish Camp!
Sounds like we took lessons on learning to catch FISH...doesn't it?
But, No.
Fish Camp is the name of a restaurant.
Our daughter had told us about Fish Camp some time back, maybe a year ago.
Then we saw it on T.V.
You can click on the link to see the News promo. only if you promise to come back and see the rest of my ridiculous photos!!!
This is the covered porch.
I love those big rocking chairs!
They have a flair for junk and repurposing...
check out the handle on the bathroom door.
Plumbing pipes...
The bathroom was cute...
Vintage mirrors.
More mirrors...
There is an outside dining porch, a pier to fish from...Yes!
You can fish while you're there.
The kids we saw fishing were actually catching little Perch and Cat-fish!
The above photo is of the over head door that open up with a screen on them.
On Saturday, they only had 2 doors open and it was so comfortable in there... not too hot!
Oh, and this cool Vintage fridge and some type of TRAP turned Wine Storage...
Cool collage frame wall...
I wanted to straighten them ALL!!!!
Not sure how I feel about the caddy-whampus action!
I'm not sure how they came up with the nautical - Buffalo theme... EITHER!
But it worked for them!
They fit perfectly!
So, there you go...if you're looking for a JUNK- Repurposed alternative for your coffee bar...
an electrical box! Ta-dah!
Beans and Corn Fritters ...
T.H. had the Blackened Tilapia
I had the Grilled chicken and Asparagus ...
Both served with red skinned taters!
On the way home we shopped at 2 different Wal-marts looking for something,( He was looking for bullets and I was looking for a certain sized CROCHET HOOK) and we shopped Tractor Supply for chicken feed while we were out (there isn't one near us) we always shop there when we're near one.
Then on the way back home, we stopped in and looked at some camper trailers. One was 'canned ham' shaped with a pop out! It was a 2009 model and was not vintage...but it was really cool!
I love stopping in to see these things. Because they always have stand up shower and potty combos... I keep telling T.H. we have room for one in our camper. ('cause I'm not really a camper)
I'm more of a PAMPERED CAMPER... what is it ...Glamper? yeah... a stand up shower and potty would be perfect!
Later in the week... I'll show you what's on the HOOK... because I scored new hook at the 2nd Walmart...
And I have another surprise announcement to share here too.
I have
Have a great week!
Rejoice in the LORD always and again I say rejoice!

Now, that's not nice to throw out a teaser like that.
Fish Camp looks like a fun place for dinner with lots to look at and take in.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
Happy Anniversary! Looking forward to the announcement. Good luck on the ammo, everyone is having a difficult time finding it .
Glad that you had a great anniversary! Congrats on the 30th!! Fish Camp looks fun and tasty too!! would have never thought of using an electrical box for a sugar packet holder!! How unique!!
That restaurant looks like a kick! Happy Anniversary too!
I want that corn! Love corn. What an idea to use the electrical box. That is different!
Typing with my hand over my mouth! Happy Anniversary! I love how you spent it and all the goodies you saw at Fish Camp. Looks delicious and such clever ideas. Ann
Happy Anniversary Pat! What a fun way to celebrate. Praying God's blessings on this year of marriage!
Happy anniversary! I'm going to have to stop by the Fish Camp when I go out to Royce City for a slingshot class
That restaurant looks exactly like the kind of place I love. And my husband and I will be celebrating 30 soon, as well! (Maybe I can talk him into building me a chicken coop. The city doesn't need to know that our backyard is 10 feet too shallow.)
Happy Anniversary to you both! :)
What a fun place to eat. Caddy Whampus.. I used that term a couple of days ago while in the company of an 85 year old neighbor, and she was puzzled as to what it meant... that surprised me.
Glad y'all got to spend the day together doing what you love!
gail
ps big announcement? hmmm
Happy Anniversary! Nice way to celebrate. :)

Happy 30th anniversary! Fish camp sounds like some place my hubby would drag me for fishing supplies!! That place has some really neat and interesting decorations!
Happy anniversary! Sounds like you had a fun day. I love the plumbing pipe handles! I once used plumbing pies for curtain rods out in my porch. The trap above that fridge is very cool too!
You had me going... I couldn't figure out what Fish Camp would be and why it would be suitable for anniversary. ;-) Looks like a fun place.
Happy Anniversary! You have 2 years on us. :-)
