:: FIVES ::

Yesterday, my son came over and brought his two Littles with him ...
we had fun playing with the bubbles and ate lunch together.
They had a blast.

What is it with kids and Mac and Cheese
Kids love that stuff!!!

While he was out mowing I caught them all sitting on the back step and snapped a picture
of
The "Just in Case League"
I began to think in Fives.

What are five?

Right now they are FIVE
A SET OF FIVE.

They are a FULL HOUSE.

3 BOYS and
2 GIRLS.

If their names were Huron, Eerie, Superior, Ontario and Michigan ...
They'd be bodies of water, Great Lakes...instead of little love bugs.

Having five points on their bodies,
A Mind of their own, 2 hands and 2 feet.
Each of them are
STARS TO ME...
busy and active as can be!

On the one hand they have 5 fingers... if they had five toes
They'd be another FOOT!
buh-dum-ching!

They are a Quintet...plain and simple.
They fill up my senses
and not in a John Denver sort of way...
hearing, tasting, smelling, seeing, touching

There are lots more things that are complete in FIVES.
The Olympic rings.
The Oceans.
The Pentagram.
The Pentateuch--The LAW.

You can see I got carried away thinking about Fives...and then it occurred to me
soon,
VERY
SOON...

They will NOT BE FIVE...

They'll be SIX!!!

...another Star!

I'm going to be an Oma again!
...and The Honey will be a HONEY again!

"Grandchildren are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers."
~Proverbs 17:6 ~

What a treat! What a surprise.
Totally unexpected...but a welcome blessing for sure.

I've had this bee in my bonnet since JANUARY!!!!
I've been wanting to tell you...but alas, my anonymous blog is not so anonymous anymore
(several in family peek in on me from time to time)
AND. I. WAS. SWORN. TO. SECRECY.

So anyway...  now that's got me thinking...
what comes in sets of SIX?

The Rat Pack
The Brat Pack ? Not sure about that one.
and I really don't like to call kids brats, unless they are...then they know I'm upset with them.

I could call them THE SIX PACK.
Do soda's still come in 6-packs?

The Brady Bunch... there's a Six.

INSECTS!
they have 6 legs.
but technically...
these LITTLES will have
12 between them...

O.K.
that's my big news and now you know what's been on my mind lately.

Behold, Children are a gift of the LORD,the fruit of the womb is a reward. ~ Psalm 127:3

Six Flags Over Texas! Does that exist? Half a dozen eggs. You have that. Gratuity added automatically to parties 6 and over. You're sure to have even more parties now. Sixth sense. Hmmmmph, you have it!

Congratulations Oma! Ann

Hello dear friend,
I was here earlier today and blogger was messing up bad, and so I was not able to comment. And thanks for the heads up on my blog, I fixed it. It was not uploading the photos to my blog when I was writing it, so I kept trying and ended up suddenly with multiples...oh dear, that's what we get for using a free blog host.
Now onto your sweet post, your five are darling and what a special blessing to have another one coming!!! I would so love to have another baby in our family, but it won't be happening for several years, unless one of my step-daughters surprise me, but they had better get married first. As much as we love babies, they need a mommy and a daddy.
Your post is very fun, I could never have thought of so many fives!
Hugs, Cindy

Six Blessings!! What "grand" news, Pat! Truly grandchildren are a blessing of the Lord. I just returned home from fulfilling a grandmother dream. I took my almost two grandson food shopping and we used the "truck" style shopping cart. We were both in our glory!
