I've been looking all over for an idea, trying to come up with a use for my old, dried up grape vine wreath.
Months back while cleaning up-- I stripped it of is old garb-- and it has been hanging naked, in the laundry room
...waiting for a new life.
Today-- She put it on!
Here is what I used.
- grape vine wreath (had it already)
- old jersey type shirt
- jute twine
- scraps of burlap
- baling wire (had it )
(no, I didn't take any pictures for tutorial purpose)
I got the idea from here....A Little Lovely She gives a great tutorial. Since it was her project, I'll let her tell it.
You may notice-- two of my flowers are burlap! It seems to work just as well, as the jersey fabric.
I think they are so dern cute! I wrapped baling wire around my flower 'stems' and then I fastened them to the wreath.
It took me about 20 mins (that's including interruptions from the Grands) to complete and get it hung!
Oh, yea- I'm liking it.

Looks great! I have one in need of a do-over as well and this has given me something to ponder.
Pat, I love the lilac color with the burlap beige! It came out so sweet!
How pretty. I love it. I never would have thought of making flowers from jersey. Way cool.
Great job! Those no cost projects are the best, aren't they? thanks so much for checking out my faux stone patio, and your nice comments. Now my sister in law wants me to help her with one, too. I had so much fun doing my own, so I am excited to "faux" again!
Very cute and thrifty, too! LOVE the colors... Lezlee
No wonder it suits you -- it is absolutely charming (like you). I'm so happy that you linked your project today! Take care and enjoy your day!
