One of the Best Parts about Being home~

Are the blessings of Home.

So glad I'm home.
I'm glad We're Home.

I am so happy to be here.  From the moment I walked in the door.  I've felt more relaxed than I have in a long COUPLE OF WEEKS!
Perfect peace, no anxiety.

On Memorial Day-- ( before we came home on Thursday)
My kids , all in their 20's with families of their own now, came to our house.  They cleaned and reorganized my whole house.  The girls paid attention to details like...
summer furniture arrangement; to accommodate the window A/C instead of the wood burning stove.  They had all the guys moving furniture and making sure Honey could maneuver the kitchen, doorways, and pathways without any problems.
They washed the bed linens and made every bed fresh-- vacuumed, dusted, and made pretty every single room!
It was like a dream.
Both my son in laws MOWED the whole property-- and they also installed an awning  (SURPRISE!) in the back over the bathroom window. That rooms takes a direct hit from the sun-- and gets very warm in the afternoon.

You remember we had guests staying here temporarily for a few months...well, with all the stress of Honey's health and needing our privacy it came down to them moving.  It's hard because it's my dad and brother.  But it was time.

My kids (being the greatest kids on the planet)  saw to it that  home FELT like home when we got here.

I am so blessed.

I'm so glad to be home. Close to friends and family.  On Saturday, our Pastor and His wife came to visit and they gave us a GIFT from the church-- I'm trusting God to take care of our needs, He knows what they are before I do!  He even takes care of the little things.

I noticed we were running low on sugar-- didn't want to spend the time away from the house to go and buy any and besides-- funds were low.  Right before our Pastor and Wife came, our oldest son and daughter in law popped in to see Dad and I... my sweet little daughter in law came into the kitchen and said -- ' Here you go, I brought you some sugar.'

Well you can imagine my surprise!

I was confused.  How did she know we needed sugar?  I asked.

She said, 'I didn't.  I was at my moms before coming here and she packed it up and said to bring you some!'
I'm positive God laid it on her heart to send it!

Because HE takes care of the littlest details without our knowing.  No coincidences. Just blessings!

I'm so blessed.

God Bless you and Thanks for reading!

Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.  Psalm 103:1

I'm so glad you're home too and that your husband is doing better. What a beautiful family you have and I know that you know you are truly blessed for that. You are absolutely right...there is no place like home! I will continue to keep you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers.

Have a wonderful day,

oh, that sugar story is priceless! God can bring good from any situation. I love that your kids did everything just right for you two. Continuing to pray for Honey. You need to find time to blog each day, even if you don't post it, it will be a record for you and a testimony of what God is doing.

I know it was difficult for you to make the decision for your dad and brother to move but your husband's health must come first. It's wonderful that your kids came and made the house ready for summer and your return home.

God is indeed good and he will take care of you. You're still in my prayers.

Pat, I am so happy for your sugar story. I have seen God do so many things for me lately that may seem small to someone else...even to the point of sounding silly to others. But, He takes care of every need. And, I am glad that I am noticing these things as well as you and giving Him credit. I know it puts a big smile on Daddy God's face.
