Paper Scallops~

I was putzin' around with some junk the other day and came across a paper back Thesaurus I had used a while back for another project...and I also found a tub full of thumb tacks. SCORE!

I tore out some pages and used the tub to make half circles on the them; then cut them out. Pretty simple really.
I used the thumb tacks to fasten the paper to the edges of the bathroom shelf... Just to soften the edges somewhat. I didn't even make perfect circles. You can see that they are all different sizes. But I like it!

Little Paper Scallops~

Pretend there is a small flame flickering in that candle.
So much character in such a simple project.

What a sweet little touch those scallops add. And the thumb tacks are charming!
