::Baseball and Crocheting::

I've been doing some crocheting lately. That's what I do when the Rangers are playing and it's televised. We don't have cable so--
Not tonight...tonight I was playing around with picmonkey... I was LISTENING to the game online.

They lost.  :(

Anyway... have your tried picmonkey?  I like it. It's pretty simple to use.  They also have a collage feature.
I'll tell you...I generally make all my collages in PAINT. It takes a little bit of time
...but hey, there are 9 innings in a ball game. What else are you going to do?
~linking here~

picmonkey simplifies it for you. You  choose your line up  just click on the photos you want to use.  Click on the layout for your collage...

Get them all into position--with all the bases loaded... I mean slide all the pictures into the frame. Make your final selections... and SAFE! I mean SAVE. :)

You do all this while Yelling at the monitor so the team can hear all of your encouragement and advice...

Then you have a winning photo collage! See? simple.
I'm not a huge fan, like I know stats and stuff. I don't.  But I do appreciate the game! Baseball is the great American past-time. It frees the mind....well, it does for me.

Do you like baseball? If so...do you prefer to watch or listen?  Some people can't follow it. PERIOD. What's up with that?  You really have to envision what the announcer is saying when listening... it is all together different.  I like both.

Texas Rangers    Go Rangers!

I need to get on there and "play" a little more...sometimes those sites give me a "panic attack". But it sounds like I could handle that :) Thanks!! Laurel

Neat. It sure makes a nice photo. I'll have to play around with that when I have free time.

That does make a nice photo collage. I've tried another site, but I don't do enough of the collages to remember my passwords!!! Love the look, however!

great (funny) post Patricia!
I haven't used PicMonkey yet. I use Picassa for collages.

Never used picmonkey, I use photoscape, I like it and understand it but have thought of checking out another just for versatility. Sometimes I think I should learn to crochet or knit, I have done minimal- scarves like everyone did a while back but totally forgot. I have lots of crochet hooks.....go figure.

What a fun post! Yes, I love picmonkey--so much faster--and almost foolproof!

I love your blog post, I love the photos, I love the mosaic and I love crochet, but.... we don't really go in for baseball over here in the UK but I detest football probably as much as I would detest baseball if we did go in for it!

Baseball? Ummmm . . . sorry, no. But picmonkey looks like it might be a winner. I'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks for sharing :D

Hey Pat, I've been using picmonkey just here and there. I just never want to take the time to do things to my pictures, but when I do use it to put a watermark or whatever on a picture, it really is easy and not too time-consuming. As for baseball, I'm a fan, more in person than on TV. It's been a while since I've been to a game, but my son played when he was younger so many of my days were spent with my rear planted on the bleachers. My problem is paying attention to the game. I get distracted and end up just people watching or talking during the lulls in the action (which can sometimes be extensive) and have no clue what's going on. I guess for me, the most fun is being out in a crowd and eating the concessions. :)
