:: The Subtleties Of Man ::

So... this is where my sewing machine has been sitting for two days.

I've dreamed about and pinned all sorts of things I want to sew and make with it-- while it's NOT been running.

On Tuesday, The Honey made some repairs and adjustments to it for me; and got it running top notch again. (to think, it's been sitting waiting for repairs; that I thought could only be done at a SHOP. But No. He fixed it!)

Since Tuesday-- Periodically, I hear the machine WHIRRING away.... but only for a brief minute.
Then on Wednesday...again a couple of times ...whir-whir-whir....
Finally, he says..."Look, there's SL-oooowww; and there's FAST. "
I said , "yep, cool...it seems to be working"

Finally,he said,  " I fixed this thing for you; and you haven't used it yet."

Hmmm... so I guess I GET TO SEW today a little bit. :)

Then he said to them,
" Go eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those who have nothing prepared; for this is a holy day unto the LORD.
Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. ~~Nehemiah 8:10

Hi Pat, I said I would stop by. That is a good thing that your hubby can fix a sewing machine. Mine can fix almost anything, but I have my doubts about a sewing machine. Fortunately mine is not broken and I need to get busy using it..Happy Thursday..Judy
