I posted this link up on the 2nd and said that you could go to THE INSPIRED ROOM to get it. (Thanks Melissa for sharing it!)
I still don’t have ink… so I thought I’d share with you what I put down for my 2013 HOME GOALS
2013 HOME GOALS
~ONE WORD FOR MY HOME IN 2013: Simple

I want to make the Memory in my home that it is clean, tidy, and available. That people who enter my home are always welcome and I am always ready to receive them. I don’t want that memory to be that visitors are a burden or inconvenience. I want the memory that "Hospitality is the flavor of the day!" :)
~THE ONE PROJECT I WILL COMPLETE THIS YEAR:
Upholstering and recovering my Antique Settee and Chair—and moving it to the living room to be USED AND ENJOYED!!!
~ A NEW SKILL I'D LIKE TO LEARN:
UPHOLSTERY! (and improved sewing skills for the task!) Last year, I tried TATTING...didn't get very far. This year, I'm hoping for better!!!
How about you, did you make a list of goals for the year? Something to shoot for? Maybe you have different goals, something along the lines of health, finance, learning a new skill? Share it with us...we'd love to know what they are!
Have a blessed week!
Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusts in Thee. ~ Isaiah 26:3

I don't make a list in January. I run on a school calendar so my project list is ready for the beginning of summer vacation.
I reupholstered a sofa once about 35 years ago. Fortunately my mother-in-law, who was an amazingly talented woman, wasn't too far away and was able to come over to help me. It was an antique camel back sofa.
The other thing I notice was how many rooms you want to 'get organized". You have more rooms to organize than I have in my house!
I love this! I guess I missed it on the 2nd. Something to keep goals simple and easy to check off. "Always ready to receive" is what I want, too. Now if I could get the other 8 members of this household on board... ;-)
Best wishes on the upholstering. I can't wait to see the result. That's a craft that always seemed too overwhelming to me. I saw too many people start and not finish...
P.S. I shared this on my blog's Facebook page.
Hi, Pat!
I've got an always running list on my clipboard behind the weekly to do lists that I live off of every day!
I don't make goals anymore. I have a load of things I want to do but the way things work with me is that I only do what I'm fired up about doing. If I try to force myself to do something, it will NOT.GO.WELL. lol!
Good luck with your list! xox
