So, I was sitting HERE on Tuesday, minding my own birthday.
(this is the 'new' desk space I'm working on for myself.)
Remember? Cute ...but functional.
And I was 'Enjoying' this...
(daughter dropped it off , along with a gift card, when picking up Bree to go home)
When it dawned on me...every time I opened Google today...
The 'Google' image was cakes and candles... i i i i i i (x8)
So, I hovered over the image and it said
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATRICIA!
Sorry for the photo quality.
I hit the 'print screen button' and when I saved it... it looked great.
It Did.
Now... I don't know why it looks all pixelated.
(which by the way...spell check offered 'dilapidated' as a suggestion ?!)
So...yeah, my picture looks dilapidated. :[
ANYway...
It was unsettling for me.
I don't quite know what to make of it.
thank you everyone...for my birthday wishes!!!
Y'all are great.
So teach us to number our days that we might present to You a heart of wisdom.

Happy Belated Birthday to you Pat!! I think that a great big chocolate bar and a Coke are great gifts too!! Pixelated is a new and good word!!
How cool! Do you know who did that? Do you have an "in" with Google?? Watch that caffeine intake!
That is very strange! But nothing a bite of Hershey bar can't fix!
Oh-Happy Birthday- Did you feel like Big Brother was watching you???? Kinda freaky, huh? xo Diana
huh what? google knew it was your birthday? I am sad I missed mine....
I don't mind that they track me. Honestly I'd rather see ads that pertain to me on a site, than ads for something off the wall.
coke and hershey! oh me oh my! my two favs.... that I enjoy very little of these days. Haven't had hershey in weeks. My snack these days is about 10-12 M&M's. 1 coke a day (can) I thought I'd miss it more than I do...

I didn't know they did that - I must not have noticed on MY birthday. Is it sweet or a tad creepy in a "big brother" sort of way? Now, I'M the unsettled one. :)I suppose it's sweet - other places have our birthdays and they don't bother to acknowledge...
