:: In All things -Seeing and Trusting- ::

I don't know about you; but haven't you ever wondered what it must be like to be a photographer or a boom-mike man on National Geographic Television?  I've watched Nature: with David Attenborough  and wondered how hard it must be to watch nature take it's course...as the crocodile leaps from the water and latches onto the Gazelle , thrashing about; and drags it's frail body into the water.

Then we took up homesteading.

We've lived in the country for quite some time now...but it wasn't until we actually began to pay attention to the creatures around us; while trying to raise chickens and now keets...

having little birds put their nests right inside my flower pot

or having squirrels follow us around the yard, waiting for a pecan, that I suddenly saw the beauty in nature.
And recognize the Creator in the creation around us.

The beauty in the living creation and the beauty in how a life is given or taken away,  in order that there might be balance.
Balance of something I don't see or understand. A balance of something greater than my mind can imagine.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is too high, I cannot attain to it ~Psalm 139:6

I was so grateful to God, this week, that He knew what our little dog Buster had need of  and He provided it. I've grown so attached to Buster; but I've told you before, we did not go looking for him, he was a drop of dog, veterinarian bills are NOT in our budget right now.  All I could do was trust God that he would take care of Buster. God is Faithful.

He did.

When I felt like this...

I was reminded of this...

"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? ~Matthew 6:26

My Father in heaven cares about me... in the little things and the big things.  He knows Buster is important to me, now.  Had Buster truly needed to see the vet... I'm certain God would have provided a way for that too.

Had HE not...

I would still trust Him.

What are you trusting God for today?

There are no small details to God, whatever it is, trust He is faithful...and if he does not open up the flood gates and give that one thing to you, just know that He knows what you have need of before you ask Him...

And Let us no grow weary in well doing for in due season we will reap, if we faint not. ~Galatians 6:9

Buster is a sweet looking pup. I too love his ears! Praise God that no thing is too big or too small for his glory to shine.

I am trusting God to take care of every little thing, just like always. So happy your Buster is doing better... such a sweetie!
Y'all sure have a lot of varmints in your neck of the woods. :) Hoping that Rocky is staying away from your fruit trees.... Cute bag you made for the little...you are good at that. Me? give me a wooden project and I can eyeball it, sewing? not sew (pun intended) much.
Catching up on all my reading.

So glad the big guy is looking out for Buster, who I have not seen before. I've been slacking with my reading lately, so I'm trying to catch up. What are Keets? I am trusting God to make my girl's recovery complete, our upcoming move a good one and to help me be brave when facing new challenges. Ann

So happy that Buster is doing better! I have such a heart for dogs. I hate to see one suffering. I'm so happy that Buster found you!

Love this. The verse from Matthew is one of my favorites and I have often relied on it.

You are making me stretch my brain some tonight. I have to rush to google "keets" because I have no idea what they are!
