:: The By-Product of Doing::

…You know, besides actually COMPLETING THE PROJECT?

I’m talking about the mess in between “To-Doing and To-Done”.

the by product of doing

This picture pretty much sums it up.
  • The project- {upholstery}
  • The day –to-day living-{grand-daughter’s hat}
  • The Finding of lost things… ‘vintage sheets’ in a box marked…KITCHEN?  AND!!!!   Granny’s button box {a.k.a: My mother in love}
  • The next  IN BETWEEN project?  {sewing a lining for some baskets, for my littlest grandson’s room}  How old do you think he’ll be when that project gets done?!  LOL…
Do you have a project “PLACE” …like a shop? or a room?
Does your project tend to spread itself out …not just over time…but ALL OVER YOUR HOUSE?

I did NOT want to make this 31 Day challenge about my couch.That ship has sailed.  Especially, seeing how, 30 days have come and gone since I started it.  If I get this finished before the 25 of this month…I’ll be just shy of 2 months!!!

That is a very small amount of time, in my opinion considering I’ve had this set for 3 years. :/

We’re getting lots of steady rain today and forecasted for tomorrow and perhaps further into the week. Not going to complain. We’re not going to have the grandkids this week after today…so almost a whole week off…maybe I can knock this couch OUT!

You're not the only one with so many unfinished projects.
Are your reupholstering your couch?

My projects spread themselves out all over my house. I do not have a sewing or craft room, so the projects tend to linger here and there, ha ha ha!

Wow when I read all the blogs I see the common bond we have. I have many unfinished projects. Every time I finish one I breathe a sigh of relief. There is not enough time in the day! But I am happiest when I am doing my crafts.

I'm right there with all of you! You should see my dining room table right now... or Not! I guess I like it that way because it only changes when we entertain, other wise it's crafty business as usual! Love your post Pat! Deb

My projects seem to take over the entire house! You will finish your couch in it's time. The results will be worth it!

I try to limit projects to my back porch or basement as I hate stuff all over. But a settee-- how can that not take over? Any time that it gets done will be amazing! I don't think you can rush projects like that anyway. Haste makes waste.
