While I’ve been under the weather— T.H. has started on some projects that we’ve had in W.I.P. (waiting in pile) OR Work In Progress; which ever works for you! Currently, he’s been clearing out some brush along the fence and he has created a scrap metal pile; that will be hauled off eventually, hopefully to get a little bit of money for it. That will go into the savings jug! In the mean time—he’s taken to putting the pallet wood on the bedroom wall!
Yay!
I’ve wanted this pallet wood wall for a while. After talking of moving I didn’t think it was going to happen. He went ahead and started on it---without me. I’ll get to enjoy it while we’re finishing up here and getting the house ready to sell.
I HOPE it’s an attraction and not the other way around!
I’ve used what spurts of energy I’ve had in order to keep up with everyday activities. But today I HAD HIGH-ENERGY! I felt like my stamina is coming back.
- I was able to wash the few dishes we’ve used-- when you pack your dishes away, cleaning up is quick! I think I’m going to like “less is more”! The next thing I’m going to work on is wardrobe.
- I did laundry today. It was only 2 loads… and I was able to take a break in between hanging each load and letting them dry.
- By late afternoon—I was feeling well enough, to sweep, take down and fold all the laundry; and we grilled with the kids next door. My daughter told me they were firing up the grill, to bring something over and make some supper. I noticed when I was walking back with our chops… I was feeling refreshed. It felt good to get some deep breaths, fresh air and exercise!
Thank you everyone for your well wishes and prayers for getting well. I truly do appreciate each and everyone of your encouraging words!
Y’ALL ARE THE BEST!
‘Til next time, Be Blessed!
Patricia

Looks like the hubby is getting motivated. Or he just wanted to make you feel better. Either way, I'm so glad you are on an upswing.
I have wanted to do something like that with pallet wood or some of the wood we had left over from our fence project. I can't wait to see it finished!
glad you had some extra energy! Hope it continues for you. this is going to be a neat wall. Be sure to show us the end result. Enjoy the weekend.....Warm temps and all..
