Wishing for a White Christmas-

We're not having any snow yet--
It hardly ever snows at Christmas time here in Texas where we live.

I love the snow.
I know people in some states are probably sick of it by now ; but I just can't help myself.

It's kind of like a kid in a candy store, how often do kids really get to go there and get what they want?
Same with me and snow...I never get to see too much of it.

So, I'm posting a picture of the first day of spring at our house this year.

Aren't these Irises are so lovely in the snow?

Wishing for a White Christmas!

"God thunders with His voice wondrously,
Doing great things which we cannot comprehend.
"For to the snow He says, 'Fall on the earth,'
And to the downpour and the rain, 'Be strong.'
"He seals the hand of every man,
That all men may know His work."
"Then the beast goes into its lair
         And remains in its den.
"Out of the south comes the storm,
And out of the north the cold.
"From the breath of God ice is made,
And the expanse of the waters is frozen.
    "Also with moisture He loads the thick cloud;
He disperses the cloud of His lightning.
"It changes direction, turning around by His guidance,
That it may do whatever He commands it
On the face of the inhabited earth.
"Whether for correction, or for His world,
Or for lovingkindness, He causes it to happen.
    "Listen to this, O Job,
Stand and consider the wonders of God.

Job 37:5-14

God Bless you today

We've had a White December! The first day of the month we were hit with snow and it hasn't stopped! This is upstate New York after all!

If I didn't have snow on the ground in the winter time I would be wishing for it too!!!
