Chilly Willy!

Well, AT LEAST this Snow man is smiling about the weather--

But... I'm just glad we FINALLY HAVE A REASON TO BE COLD!
It's been Chilly- Frigid- Cold all week--
(remember Sunday was 80 degrees)
My pipes are frozen -- I'm more than likely going to have to replace some copper under the house--
once it all thaws were going to have water running out our EARS!

But in the mean time...

We're just trying to stay indoors and be warm.

We haven't had any of the 'rolling black out's  they've been talking about the Dallas area having- OR
like Brenda -Cozy Little House -- She lives east of here.
We're on Co-opertive Electric-- don't know if that means much ~~
but hey, they did come out and trim the trees last fall; so we haven't had an
UN-planned outages either!  Kudos to the Co-op!

But~ since we don't get this often, I just have to say:

It sure is pretty!

God Bless you and Thanks for reading!

STAY WARM Y'ALL!!!!!

Stay warm! We still had 80 today here in Orlando. If I ever saw snow like that here, I'd probably faint! Very pretty, but I know it causes problems. Ann

Bless your heart. Frozen water pipes is one of the things we always worry about. Is all your water frozen or just that to the hot water heater? If you can borrow a heater called a salamander you can thaw your pipes under the house out quickly. Just be careful not to get the heater close to insulation.

Soon as you get your place warmed up... will you be heading to Dallas to thaw things out for the Super Bowl? Hope things warm up son for everyone. I read somewhere that the arctic is warmer than usual and the US and Canada are colder than usual - I vote to send the cold back to the arctic!

What a temperature swing! From 80 to snow in one week? wow!
We're used to cold and snow, and yes it's pretty, but I'm so sorry to hear about your frozen pipes. What a headache!
We're heading to florida at the end of the month in search of some warmth. Hope it warms up down there.

Pat, we've had pipe problems too, yesterday in the middle of the freeze... the pipe going into the washer (cold)burst, so the guys had to go out there and stab in off, now I only have hot to the washer and when it gets warmer will have to fix it right...tear up my newly paint wall, at least it is behind washer...we left everything running a little all through this, no telling what the water bill will be! Hey, Mindy's tailgate is being rescheduled, so maybe we can make it? Lezlee
