Update On Honey!

Hi Everyone-

I just wanted to stop in and say a big thank you for all the prayers that have gone up for my Husband (aka-Honey) during this time.

I haven't had access to the internet to keep you posted-- but we are home now!!
Finally.
Today.

We went to the E.R. on Friday , 20 May, 2011--

Honey DID NOT receive stents as previously posted.
His heart was CLOGGED -- the very next day after having the angioplasty, he INSTEAD was taken to surgery for OPEN HEART -BYPASS.

He had a triple by-pass.
He recovered quite well the first day  24 hours from that surgery.

However, sometime between Wednesday, 25 May and Thursday, 26 May-- he suffered a slight stroke.
So he has been receiving testing and meds and having to get them all lined out; Along with some IN-house Rehabilitation.

All totaled, we were in the Dallas hospital 12 days.
He has made a marked recovery from the stroke.  I am so grateful to God that he didn't allow Ric to become so debilitated that I could not care for him . The fact that he is alive is a testimony to the Power of God and the plans He has for us; of which we know nothing about -- but TRUST Him immensely!
He will continue to receive therapy on an outpatient basis.

We will be traveling to either Dallas or Waco for more Dr. visits in the future.  Honey is a Veteran -- so we'll be going through the Vet's Administration for the remainder of his care.

We have other needs that will begin to trickle in sooner than I am probably anticipating-- but I am not worried about those for the moment.  Today-- I am just trying to care for my husband.

God has held me up in the Palm of His hand.  I am so grateful to God for keeping us in His tender care!
Praise Him for His mercy and Grace.

I have seen so much Good come out of this time; and I can't wait to share more testimonies with you!

God Bless you and Thanks for Reading, and most of all for Praying!

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.  Matthew 6:34
