2012- What it holds for Me.

I have absolutely NO. I. DEA. Non-sequitur photos 065
None of us do. All we can do is HOPE. It helps us to look forward with anticipation for something good, something better.  We do it in FAITH.
Faith is the substance of things Hoped for the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1

I almost didn’t sit down to write a New Year post, especially after looking at my 2011 New Year post.  It was almost THE. VERY. SAME. LIST.

I STILL WANT TO LEARN TO TAT!
But You know what?  I may not have accomplished so much of what was listed last year…but much was accomplished. So what do you do?  You persevere.  You keep on doing what needs to be done. You make the list—I don’t make a resolution, I think I’ve said that before. I just *HOPE TO* ~
I HOPE TO trust the LORD…more and more this year.
I HOPE TO listen to the sound of His voice.
I HOPE TO hear Him say …this is my Way, walk in it.
I HOPE TO do everything I do because it is HIS will for me.
I base my HOPE TO on my trust in Him. If I seek him first his word promises that all these other things will follow. livingroom-plants-lantern-garden 5-6-11 093
Does that leave me without any responsibility? NO. It does not.
It GIVES me responsibility as a child of God. Responsibility to follow through to the best of my ability.
It gives me responsibility to manage and steward all that He has given me to do… in my life, my marriage, my home, my ministry.
I tell you the TRUTH WHEN I SAY… I don’t want to. My natural instinct is to sit back and coast. moon over the lake
I’ll have to be creative this year. I’ve let bad habits sneak up on me. I’ll have to come up with ways to creatively get my share of responsibilities done.
I HOPE TO  be creative this year in coming up with solutions to
  • CLUTTER
  • Time management (lack of concentration)
  • Procrastination (coasting)
  • Realistic Goals (expectations)
  • Budgeting (*realistic goals)
  • Learning new Skills
I’ve got a few creative things in mind I hope to share some of them this week.
How about you, do you have a Hope to list? Do you have some areas that need more focus than others?  Please tell me I'm not alone.
Maybe you have tips or solutions… you could share those!  I’m open to suggestions.

BLOG HOP #43

as always~
God Bless you and Thanks for reading!
Oh… and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.~ Isaiah 30:21

Happy New Year Pat!! You are not alone my friend, I need to focus on so many things but I am putting the important things first, well I am going to try anyway. I also need to put more focus into God and what He has in store for me, I need to quiet my soul and really listen.
I pray that your dreams come true and many, many blessings come your way.

I do have a "hope to" list. We all have things that we can work on, I deal with procrastination, too.
Have a wonderful evening.

Pat
that's quite a bill to fill! But with the Lord's help you can do it.
Yes. I have many things I hope to accomplish too.

Awe, thanks so much for stopping by! Yea, we're renting...I want to make a few raised beds, but need to figure out how to keep our 2 dogs out of them! I'm following you now too! :) Is there a way to follow by email? Love that you're a Jesus-lover as well. :) I love how so many bloggers are! How funny. Look forward to following you on your adventures!

Very good post at how exactly things are. None of us knows what will lie ahead. I don't make specific resolutions as I always have things I need to work on with myself like exercise and such. Just seems we need it more after the excess of the holidays.

I'm going to learn to tat, too. What a coincidence!

I have lots of goals for the year, but I never know what'll end up happening. All I can do it hope. :)

You have expressed many of my desires--I think we continue to expand in these areas--but I find I need to consciously tell myself at the beginning of the day and through-out it to trust, listen, hear , do! It is so easy to delve into self and not pay attention!

We can all stand to learn more and keep our minds open to new experiences. This year I hope to get more done and with less hesitation and fear. Happy New Year! Ann
