Chicken Time!

Mr.Burns ~
He's a poser.

Motley looking crew!
Quite Colorful!

I put this bowl of water out for them-- since they were away from the coop.

 As soon as I DID...
 They began to snoop around!  They're such funny little birds-- so nosy.

Talented too... I kept getting odd little pictures like this!

 Do yo suppose this is THE chicken dance?

This isn't the best representation (because of my poor camera skills) But...  there are moments like this ...when they ALL  just freeze. Like little statues and nobody moves ---for like 3 to 5 seconds. Which isn't really a long time
...but it is in CHICKEN TIME!

Maybe they all hear something and it's a defensive mode of behavior. I envy you your chickens. I want to have some again. Had them as a kid. Still love their antics.

What a lovely post, your chickens are so pretty and yes, talented. They were probably doing the chicken dance around the water bowl, they were so happy to be outside in the sunshine drinking water.:)
Happy hugs, Cindy

Defense Mode-- or they're just leery of the 3 eyed monster following them around the yard! {smile}

I love chickens. Have the fake ones all over in my house but would love to get a few for the yard. Real egg layers. We can have three in our city but no rooster. I just have no idea what I am doing so would have to study up.

They are so awesome! We are the same as Elaine 3 and no roosters! But thats a lot for 3 people!

What little beauties you have. I would like to get some exotic chickens this year, but would have to put up a fence first. They're the best little weed cleaners and so much fun to watch.

I checked in specifically to see this post. I think I am in love with Mr. Burns. One day.... one day, I want to have some chickens - I wanna be just like you! LOL. Great pictures of all those funny creatures. Ann
