::Word of the Year, Goals, and Projects::

Go here to THE INSPIRED ROOM  for this {free printable}

I currently do not have printer capabilities...so I'll hopefully be sharing my Home Goals for 2013 over the next few weeks.

I will tell you I've given my WORD FOR THE YEAR some thought already.  I'm narrowing it down and just need to choose.
Last year's word was Attitude
...it helped me a bunch last year to see it in writing, on the chalk board, on a post it...just where ever. To look at my attitude...to not let my attitude be affected by someone else's wrong attitude and so forth.
I love choosing a word.  Do you choose a word and let it be a focus or inspiration for you?

I will definitely say this:
I've got the LAST THING on Melissa's list already figured out. That is

THE ONE PROJECT I WILL COMPLETE THIS YEAR {LORD willing} (my addition)

Yes! I got this furniture for MOTHER'S DAY 2010... (2 1/2 years ago...I know)  I have lived with it covered with sheets, blankets, afghans, pillows, etc...in a spare bedroom.  The PROJECT OF ALL PROJECTS!!!!!

I so...So...SO!!!! want to get this project done. I want this furniture in my LIVING ROOM! So we can enjoy it.  Wouldn't that be so lovely?  LORD willing... I will do this in 2013.

Why "Lord willing", you ask?  Because God's word says in James 4:13-15

Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”

So while I do not know what 2013 holds for me...or tomorrow for that matter.  I do know that what ever the LORD's will is what will be carried out. So... my project that "I WILL" complete in 2013...could all together be different from what the 'LORD WILL'...

Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee; because he trusts in Thee. ~ Isaiah 26:3

I am finalizing my word for the year too. Last year was organization and it was a good goal for me given how busy I became when school started. This year will be different I think though. Can't wait to see what you do with the sofa.

I love your 2012 word - ATTITUDE. How often do we let someone else bring us down.

I'll be waiting to hear your 2013 word.

Mine is CHANGE, but I can't post about it because I don't want to let the world know what my biggest change will be just yet.

I'll be waiting to see that sofa done.
