:: Thrifted Make-Overs WINNER ANNOUNCED::

You remember my LAST thrifting post.  I say LAST  because it is my last for at least a month.  Unless I score some good curb shopped items or freebies from someplace else.
thrifty finds

You might remember this load I brought home.  I used some DIY chalk paint and a little bit of Minwax Finishing Paste to seal the paint. It was a quick project and didn't take long to remake the little picture frame clock!
I rescued this clock from the DONATE BOX that my oldest daughter was creating... Here is what it looks like now.

The same thing with this dusty old bread box.  Rescued.

Made over. I'm not quite done with the bread box... I'll show it at a later date.

I used this method to distress before applying the wax-  recently posted @ 4 the love of wood THE ART OF WET DISTRESSING here

Did you know you can buy Minwax Finishing Paste thru Amazon? I never knew!

I'm keeping the clock for myself.
The bread box is getting passed along to youngest daughter...as it is now her style and will go nicely in her kitchen! Can't wait for you to see it.

In the mean time--

I love both the clock and breadbox make overs Pat (saw the breadbox in a future post). Are you telling me you did the lettering on the breadbox freehand? Not surprised if you did! Ann
