:: Are you SITTING DOWN? I’ve got something to tell you! ::

::Day 28::
The month is almost over… I’ve been working from ‘TO DO’ to ‘TO DONE’… and now…
TA-DAH!!!

I told you…  the next time you see the picture below… I’d be finished.

Well… guess what?!
I finished my couch!  I know!   I am JUST. AS. SHOCKED.AS YOU!!!
I can’t even begin to tell you… so I’ll just let the pictures speak for me.

There are several.

Everything I could ask for in a 90 year old couch!

I love it. I must say…after having it in the middle of my spare bedroom and up on saw horses for 2 months… I sure thought it was a bigger couch than it is…

My living room seems much larger.  The Ceiling much taller.  The T.V. much farther away.

It only took me 3 1/2 years to get around to doing… all the while, I researched…and watched video after video… I wanted it to be just right, you know?

Thanks for your encouragement…and thanks for being so patient… IT’S FINALLY FINISHED.

…now onto the chair!

Yay! I'm so happy for you Patricia! You must be so happy to have finally finished your comfy couch, and have it IN place in your living room. It looks great. You should be very proud of yourself for following through. I like the fabrics... they're a lot like my couch, and it's very soft. I think the fabrics are a great choice.
love the nailhead trim, and that you kept it the natural sheen (which looks fabulous by the way)

oh so happy for you! The chair should be a piece of cake, right?

Well Pat ... I bet you are so happy to have that task behind you. It looks just wonderful and I like the soft, comfy look. Most Victorian couches do not look comfortable, but that one sure does. Great job.
