Here are a few of the gifts that I made this year for the two hardest people on my list to buy for… or in my case, CREATE FOR—teens and guys!
Personalized Mugs for all the Big grand-kids… and
boy were they easy!
… I made eleven mugs for under $11 bucks. That was including the OIL BASED SHARPIE MARKERS…
Black, Gold and Silver … and the $1.50 I spent on eleven mugs right after Christmas last year! Yep, I got them for ¢.10 each. Filling them with Homemade Cocoa, Homemade Caramels, and Fudge. They also get a pair of gloves. (not pictured)
Pretty clever, I know.
But you too can shop for Christmas 2015 RIGHT NOW! and find some pretty sweet deals. I love shopping the local Dollar General for marked down Christmas--
Don’t forget to look for packages of multiples. Last Christmas I also bought a set of four melamine plates with Dallas Cowboys and Santa on them…
(stock photo- google)
I bought them because they DID NOT have a DATE on them. So they worked for this year too! :) But I was able to split the set and fill with goodies for both my son’s in law, who happen to be big fans of the Cowboys. I topped the plates high with their favorite Cream Cheese Rolls (tortillas, meat and cheese) and added COWBOY tree ornaments and those guys beamed! The loved them! Every year I say I’m going to start early on Christmas. This year—these were the first items purchased—LAST YEAR! That’s the earliest I think I’ve ever started. I won’t see my Big Grand-kids until New Years Day…but I’m sure they’ll like their mugs.
My littles and my daughters received handmade gifts… either sewn, or crocheted. I’ll show those later.
I found the

You can bet I’ll be documenting it… and can’t wait to see how it turns out. You’ll see it here, PASS OR FAIL… because I’m transparent like that. ;)
‘Til next time, Be Blessed!
Patricia

Love your gift ideas. I'm already preparing a list for my next Christmas gifts.
Great idea Pat. I used to shop all year for Christmas, but wants and needs change or get outdated during the year. We just give gift cards and money and let them enjoy shopping for themselves. Of course, I try to give a small gift of some sort. Maybe even something I have thrifted. I think they like those things better.
Hope you have a happy new year.
Stay healthy.

What great ideas! I especially like the Cowboys plate filled with goodies! We have quite a few football fanatics in our family! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
Those plates filled with goodies must have been a big hit!
