Kernels of Corn- no. 7 Hustle and Bustle

My blogging has been pretty sporadic lately… and almost every week I have an ICAD post up for the better part of the week. There’s only two more ICAD posts it wraps up the end of July.
I have plenty to blog about but finding the time to sit down and spit it all out onto the screen is another story.  I know you get what I’m saying… because when I’ve been able to read and leave comments, I’m seeing the same trend every blog I read!  HUSTLE AND BUSTLE!

Where has the summer gone?

It seems like it took forever to get hot and now I see some are saying they’re getting cooler temps.  The rain almost thwarted our efforts at gardening but in the end…we have more than enough cucumbers!

I’ve still got cantaloupe on the vine and have enjoyed having fresh melons through the week.
A few years ago—we pruned our huge old fig tree. It has taken a few years to get back into the “mood” to put on fruit—and it could be the grasshoppers haven’t been so plentiful this year, too!  But here they are… FIGS!

Last month marked a year since  the T2 Diabetes diagnosis… it is also when I took myself off my meds. I’ll go into more later. But, I thought I’d let you know… I’m having much better days and much better readings.

I attribute this to taking charge of my days and paying closer attention to my body!
** EXERCISE DAILY, Watch what I eat, Include more healthy foods!  I drink a glass of Kombucha and have incorporated Kefir either with whole grain granola or in a fruit smoothie… I’m certain these foods are so good for me.  I’m hooked on them!

With all of this busy-ness, I am grateful for the busy work around our home and to be able-bodied enough to do it. I love the bounty from the garden the knowledge and information to be well!
One last KERNAL of information:
I’ve changed the name and URL of My Camper blog and it’s now called
LIL’ CAMPER THAT COULD
iF YOU READ THERE OR HAVE IT BOOK MARKED… PLEASE BE A DEAR AND CHANGE THE LINK.  I’M GOING THROUGH MY POSTS HERE AND MAKING ADJUSTMENTS TO THE ALL THE BACK LINKS. ALSO… THERE IS A NEW EMAIL SUBSCRIPTION LINK ON THE RIGHT SIDE BAR FOR LIL’ CAMPER THAT COULD
… BECAUSE I KNOW, YOU ALL WANT TO SEE HOW IT’S PROGRESSING!  Thank you!
‘Til next time, be blessed with diligence!
Thou has kept him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trust in you. ~Isaiah 26:3

Well, your bounty is big for such a small garden. You have truly been blessed.

Happy to hear you're feeling better, Pat!

Okay. I must be really out of the loop because I didn't know you had a camper blog. I'm headed over there right now!

Look at all those fresh vegetable. YUM. All we planted were tomatoes and they aren't doing so well.
I came over from Connie's blog to congratulate you on your win.

Hi! Congratulations on being the winner of Connie's give-away. Looks like you are getting some nice things to enjoy from your garden. I must check out your camper blog. We traveled the country in a fifth-wheel for 2 and one half years and it was great to see so many national parks. Glad you have gotten healthy once again. I have just recently been diagnosed with Lyme disease so have no energy. Take care. Nancy
