It’s Not a Rumor--

I posted last night on Instagram; and I just wanted to tell you gentle readers.
It’s the absolute truth!  I bought new shoes.

#omagoestocollege
They’re not just any new shoes, either; they’re back to school shoes.
YES!  I’m going to college!
I don’t even know where to start or how to tell you!  It’s as big a surprise to me, as it is to you.
I called my dad on the way home from the college yesterday and told him my news. Of course, he’s proud of me—he’s my dad!
He asked me ‘What are you going to college for?”
So I’ll tell you the same thing I told him…
I. HAVE. NO. IDEA!
I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.
This is all new territory at this point.
Then I cried myself to sleep last night.
‘Til next time, be blessed-
And let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not. ~Galatians 6:9

Congratulations!! You can do it! I went back to college at the age of 45 to get my Interior Design degree. Loved every minute of it!

Well, good luck deciding what you want to be when you grow up. I didn't fully finish my journalism degree till I was about 43 I think.

Good for you!!! I've often said that I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I guess at my age I should figure it out before it's too late....lol

Pat,
So wonderful...Don't worry about the end and where this will lead, The Lord will guide you about what's the right direction.
