:: Embroidery, Really? Me? ::

Oh my goodness! Are you ready for Christmas?
Are you still shopping? or like me, MAKING GIFTS?!
Perhaps, you're all done with that and you're wrapping.
...Or wishful thinking, done with the wrapping and sitting next to a cozy fire...counting down the days to Christmas... while relaxing and sipping hot cocoa?

I'm still making.... working away like a little elf, making everything come together...
**I haven't embroidered in years; but I think this turned out cute!

I think I've told you ALL how I procrastinate...
Well, if it weren't for the LAST MINUTE... nothing would get done. I'm the queen of procrastination. Not bragging ...just stating the facts.

This is a little jar of Sugar Cookie Mix... I found the recipe here  I didn't have a cookie cutter, I looked yesterday while I was out thrifting...yes! FIVE DAYS before Christmas and I was thrifting?  Do you do that?
I'll show later what I picked up---but for now, I'll tell you, I got this nice little wooden rolling pin.  Last night, and early this morning, I was embroidered this flour sac towel with a pattern I found on-line.
I also included some sprinkles I had from a set that were unopened.
This is for a new someone in our lives who likes to cook! Particularly BAKE...so I know she'll like it.  (Just in case she happens to read this, maybe she won't know it's for her?)

O, give thanks to the LORD for He is good. His loving kindness is everlasting.
~Psalm 107:1

I love the red embroidery on the flour sack! I have been wanting to do some of that, and I think I will as soon as Christmas is over. I have one sign to make for my daughter-in-law and I'm finished. Move over, you have a procrastinator buddy here, I'm so bad!!!
Merry Christmas and many blessings to you and yours in 2013.
Hugs, Cindy

I love handmade gifts! I start with such grand ideas but not so much on the follow through. Well, if I start in January working on some of those ideas, maybe they'll make next season.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!

You did a great job on your towel!
I'm a fellow procrastinator too, so
don't feel too bad.
