Last year I posted (here) how there was an issue with my computer and how...I fried the interface on my camera...so it was no longer plug and play/share.
I had been working with a digital frame for months to get pictures off my camera onto my pc and then onto my blog or etsy...or where-ever.
So, this past week I finally had some 'amazon' credit built up through Swag bucks...
and I ordered a USB Card reader!
In my favorite color... citron green. I like to call it 'electric green'...but whatever.
It's from IOgear.
and it was less than $6 bucks! in price---prices vary; but I got mine free.
Plus, I signed up to try Amazon Prime (a free trial) and that made the shipping free. I ordered it on Monday and had it Tuesday. Swag bucks... yay! :)
I like this little gizmo- It has two slots.
One for my SD card from my camera and the other for my MMC from my phone.
It's a win-win.
I don't have to unplug something to make room for a power cord. This old house has limited plugs throughout each room. So, I was happy this doesn't need it's own power source.
My monitor has extra USB ports on the side...all in all, it's pretty handy and the whole set up is easier.
Plus, it was cheaper than a new camera.
You just can't beat FREE!

Sometimes it's the little things that make you smile.
Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise; making the most of your time because the days are evil. ~Ephesians 5:15-16 ~
