:: 10 Things that Happened this Week! ::

1- trip to Joann's Fabric (in Mesquite)

2 -Jars of Oops! Paint- from Lowes

$1 per jar-- creamy yellow.  Probably going to paint a small dresser for Peanut's room...
It goes pretty far when you make DIY chalk paint.  That is what I painted my Red/Orange table with; 1 of these sample pots.

3 Chicken Supremes-- down to two!!!

We had another incident in the yard--- something got one of the Supremes!  I think these guys have gone pretty much to feeding the wild life. So disappointing.

4- yards of fabric  (see #1 for fabric)  Solid Grey and Yellow and Grey Chevron...for remaking a baby swing and highchair covers...:) For Peanut

5- Upholstery Sewing Needles --for my Viking Machine (Settee sewing!)

6- Hens left now.  (refer to #2)

7- T-9 cents a yard for webbing (that's a stretch I KNOW!)

It was a good buy...and it's for the Settee!!!
I'm working to show that soon...So excited. :)

8- Days left of School Break  To work on my Settee and Chair!!! ...(no boys)
Who am I kidding?  They live right next door. So I'll be seeing them everyday--they just won't be here so bright and early. They'll be spending their days with their mom while she is on break.

9- Guineas Eating Grasshoppers! :)
These guys are getting bigger every day... they are funny to watch. They follow Honey around the yard...and he tosses grass hoppers to them.

10-IS the number you start with when you do a COUNT DOWN. Which is what I'll do as I get closer to having my settee and chair done after 3, YES! THREE years of wanting this project complete.

In the mean time...

Pretend my brains aren't made of fluff ...and I thought of something spectacular for number 10 on this list!

...but really, I'm just too tired to think of anything else.

Sooo... What's going on with you?
Do you have any last minute projects that you're doing to wrap up your summer?

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. ~ Deuteronomy 32:4

Can't wait to see your settee! I will confess that I bought a chair, some time ago, not saying how long though, and it hasn't been redone yet. Don't even want to think about all of my unfinished projects!! More ideas than time is my problem! I should follow your example and finish the chair!

Sorry about your chickens, that is frustrating!

Inspiration abounds here...I have a few things I want to finish up for the craft fair in Oct. I found some Star Wars material, making curtains for my son's room, and I would like to get to work on the spiral garden so it's ready for next year. we'll see ...:) Thank you for stopping over and making my day a cheery one. Have a blessed day yourself.

Sorry about the Supremes! I'd be most upset. On a lighter note-- we're both upholstering furniture! Mine is dollhouse scale!! I'm sure a tad easier and quicker! Although I'm getting tired of burning my fingers w/ hot glue! Hope your project is going well!

Wish I could run onto a deal like that on the webbing. I love the red.
Sorry about you loosing one of your chickens.
Take care ... have a great week-end and good luck with getting your projects done. I don't think I will ever get all my projects done and I keep adding more.
