I've been going through some photos that I've taken this summer, while playing around with my camera.
If you remember, I got a NEW-ish camera in June.
Anyway-- there is talk between us (the Honey and Myself) of moving. Yes. I hadn't wanted to share it yet. Because well, ...talk is cheap. Moving isn't.
But with that popping in and out of the conversation...it is making me look at my home differently.
** Please pay no attention to the dip along the wall under the funky '70's lights...
My PANORAMA skills aren't what they ought to be.
I'm not sure how I feel about moving. I have mixed feelings on the matter. Feelings that I'm dealing with--- and perhaps will share later.
In the mean time,
I thought I'd post these Summer pictures that I've snapped around the here. The Panorama photo-- AS IS... meaning I had just bought that sewing machine and had it there to work on... the cart on the couch... that is to keep Buster from getting on the couch. So far ...it has worked.
Below... coming into my kitchen. My newly painted white board turned chalk board.... and some pottery for the etsy! Yet to be listed. Is there ever enough time?
I recently moved the 'silverware drawer' to this wall... I was admiring the lighting and the shadows ...
Looking at it now, I'm thinking...
That is a lot of different YELLOWS!!!
Yellow is cheerful.
I feel so blessed to have this little farm house in the country.
I wonder what my next house would be like.
Would it be yellow? Sunny and cheerful?
Probably about the end of May...I ended up putting the microwave behind this yellow curtain... on the hutch next to the stove;
and I moved my bread box over to the hutch too.
I like it here.
Especially with the Parrot Salt and Pepper Holder.
I wonder how I'll like it someplace else?
I sometimes wonder what it would be like to live someplace else. I've lived here longer than I've lived any place on earth!!!
I can only see one benefit for moving now. That is getting rid of the debt. I'm all for that.
If talk continues and turns into acting on it... you'll read about it here;
the good, the bad, and the ugly... (and IN COLOR!)
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight. ~Proverbs 3: 5-6

Wow! Moving is exciting, especially if you can use your equity to get out of debt and still manage to live at the same level...
I loved seeing the photos, Pat...the lights are too fun! It's always fun and a little scary to think about new adventures!
I have always liked to move but it is a lot of work and lots of decisions. And all that legal stuff, hope it all goes smoothly if you choose to do it.
My Hubby and I are considering a big move. He is against it but our house is just too costly and I am going to have to pay someone to stay with him soon. He is on disability and has a brain tumor. My children are almost all finished with school and will have their own careers and no time for Dad. I too have very mixed emotions-we bought our house from my Mom. My Dad built it in 1973 so there is so much emotional attachment to it. I have lived here for 40 years and it will be hard to go but needs must. I keep telling myself that Home is where the heart is!
Blessings,
Lisa
I wish you all the luck in the world on your decision, and on your move, if you move.
You have a lovely home....so bright and cheerful! Even if you move I'm sure you will bring your own sunshine where ever you may go. Thanks for sharing....:)))
You really have a beautiful home.. Moving is a big thing and I think I would have all the same questions you do.. Whatever you decide I wish you happiness where ever you are :)
ohh, the thought of moving for me is dread! :) I've been here 37.5 years! hahaha
You've put so much love into your home, that I'm sure it will all transfer with you to wherever you land. :)
I'm seeing something smaller and easier to manage in your future, which could be a good thing.
we'll all be here waiting to hear the news!

Oh Pat! It's easy to tell how much you love your home and all you've put into it shows that. Change is never easy - as I have found out lately. Whatever you decide, you will be up for it and make the best of it. Ann
