Henny enjoys the watermelon treats left for her near the back porch.

Grass is still green!  Redbud tree is growing strong… and the Bottle Tree still grabs my attention!

Driving home. The Pink and Orange horizon across a cow pasture. “Photo-bomb the Sunset”

In the car-park. Our Little Hide away. Curb appeal is in the eye of the beholder.

A patchwork of mowing. After 2 weeks of down time with the big mower. I pushed around the immediate yard.  Now, catching up, beyond there…out in the fields.

We call this plant. “Old Man’s Pipe.” , because I’m not sure of the Nameo-Latinus- Scientificus …

It has several ‘babies’--  long arms, extending, resembling a big ol’ smoking pipe!

Til Next Time, be blessed where you are!

Thou has kept him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trust in you. ~Isaiah 26:3

I have NO IDEA WHY but every time I see your house I think it should be a red house with white trim. Maybe I have seen one like that in my past and liked it. Maybe not a hot red but a lighter brick red. We have some really nice dragon flies here too, huge ones this year.

I love your house and yard. It reminders me so much of my brother's house back in Indiana(the one he sold after his sweet wife died). They lived there around sixty years. Of all the things that changed during my life, their place was always there and always home. I was around four years old when they bought it. I was with them and it is one of my earliest memories:) I hated to see it sold. There is a very peaceful feeling about your home and I love that it is partially hidden by the scrubs and trees. That gives you a natural privacy screen. Please visit next week, I'll be having a Give-A-Way :)
Have a great week.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)

Oh my.....I love the four o'clocks. Haven't seen any in a long time. I remember as a child..my mom always had four o'clocks growing near the house! Brings back sweet memories!

nice pictures, thanks for sharing!

We've had a nice amount of rain, so everything is doing well here, not generally the case heading into August.
