I wrote this Limerick a few years back... but after writing a post on Balance and the drag that Social Media has become for me (and some of you too) I've decided to post it here.
( I love writing limericks; its a quirky little hobby I have)
ODE TO TECHNOLOGY
This vast piece of technology
To conquer this piece of equipment
T'would be quite an accomplishment
Instead of it conquering me.

* PS... disregard all the highlighting... I obviously am clueless today about this TECHNOLOGY... and can't get it right! LOL...

Amen to that! Sometimes I feel like it's getting the best of me!
It's definitely a love/hate relationship! Ann
I know exactly how your feel. If I turn my computer on and it isn't working the first thing I do is call Grampy. Over the years he's learned to repair and rebuild our pcs. I only know how to turn them on and off. lol
:) cute limerick! How true it is. Just when I think I'm doing okay, SMACK, I get stuck with something!
thanks for making me grin!

That goes for ALL technology for me...lol!
Have a wonderful day,

I like it! My daughter likes to write limericks too. She actually gets paid to write them. There's a site called Fivver (or something like that) and people pay $5 for various things and she frequently gets requests for limericks!
I was lucky, working for AT&T taught me how to operate a PC and I learned a lot... I love your rendition of "Ode To Technology".. priceless!
Thanks so much for your visit to my blog today,, you made me feel bad though... although I do know of the lack of rain in Texas I should have been a bit more thoughtful than to complain of the tropics getting much too much... wish I could blow it across the Gulf to Texas and the midwestern states who need it most.. but since I can't I'll just pray for you all to get a nice slow rain that might last two or more days... hopefully soon! (I lived in San Antonio and know how bad the hill country can flood with a heavy hard fast rain)....
Thanks again for your visit
Sandy
