::Thirty Days Hath September...

Pssst: Did I tell you, We're having a NO Spend month in February?

...there are only 28 days...that's my strategy)
:)

Told you...
"you just can't go willy-nilly and NOT  spend money. You HAVE TO PLAN these things out."

So teach us to number our days. That we may present to you a heart of wisdom. ~Psalm 90:12

I made it through January with no spending until the 29th. But, I consider January a 37 day month because it feels like it begins on December 26th since I vow to eat less food and spend less money right after Christmas. I participated in 2 Heart Swaps without spending a cent on the materials. On Jan. 29, I succumbed to a great chair which I don't really need, but I sure do love.

Like you, I am going for a no spending February also. I have announced my retirement in June. We have planned and prepared for retirement, but we are thinking about what we can cut. One thing I know I will spend less money on is clothes - I could never buy another item of clothing for the rest of my life and do just fine.

Good luck in February.

Somehow I'm going to do this... but does gas
for the car count? Good luck to all because
this is not easy! No spending till March 1.
Last night my sister asked if we could go
to Epcot's Spring garden show and that my
dears is (with tax) $97. a ticket. It's only
an hour drive from me and spectacular! Starts
March 6th..... Chant, "I will do this", "I
will do this"!!

In order for me to be successful at something like this, I'd have to stock up on farm animal feed, pet feed (even more), and remind my kids to not wait until the last minute to tell me they need money for something at school. I may need a bigger freezer too.

I have cut my grocery bill in half so far this year...I wanted to show my kids it can be done.

Planning is crucial for such an undertaking. It's really such a great idea, and definitely a challenge. You are a superwoman, and I'm betting on you to make it happen! I can't wait to hear how much you save and how it all turns out.
