Last of the ICADs—for another year!

Starting out with another hospital café napkin…
ICAD2015
I think these were sized pretty closely to an index card…

ICAD2015
These little cards may not show it to you… but to me they DO remind me of the days activities, events, emotions…
I was a little self centered this day.

I could only think of this line in the Mel Brooks film SPACE-BALLS …once I read the prompt. I love this John Candy Character in this film.  “Mog” – half man, half dog “I’m my own best friend” , he said!   It still makes me laugh!

#advice:
  ICAD2015
This week…this advice was all I could think of; but I was also reminded of Alice in Wonderland… when she said, “ I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it…”  in her sing-song voice.
Still …the scripture applies. LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING…ALICE.
The very last card!   #PARACHUTE

Boxing up the ICADs for now.  Perhaps in another year?!  Who knows!

‘Til Next time, be blessed and BE CREATIVE DAILY!

But godliness with contentment is great gain.         ~1 Timothy 6:6

I like these. You're pretty good at drawing on those napkins. Mine would probably have rips and holes in it. I don't think I ever saw the movie Space Balls.

I think this is such a neat thing.....I journal everyday, but I like the way you draw out the thoughts in your day. Totally awesome! Keep cool my friend...it's HOT in our neck of the woods.

Nice! I remember Alice's line about advice-- I always liked that too. So will you keep up with some art. doodling, visual journaling... now that ICAD is over?

I've been so out of touch lately. I just caught up on all of your blog posts.

I am hoping and praying that your honey is doing okay. It's been a week since you posted anything which concerns me.

Posting to a blog is not nearly as important as taking care of family. I hope to hear some good news very soon.

I have loved and enjoyed all of your ICADs.

take care my friend!
